GROCERY SHOPPING

  • Mercato Civico (via Sassari)   is the historical civic market of Alghero specialized in fresh fish, local food, season fruit and vegetables. Inside the fish market there are also a butcher’s shop and a small food store with local products. You can also have a lunch based on fish here just a few minutes walking from the house.

  • Wednesday city Market   is an appointment that residents and tourists rarely miss. A lot of stalls snake along viale Europa, in the Lido area, with in-season fruit and vegetables, cheeses, cured meats and other typical products, but no stalls of meats and fish. Apart from food you can find everything you need: new and used clothing, home furnishings, leather goods, books, toys etc.
